2015
The beginning of 2015 seen us invest in orbital welding equipment which has improved efficiency and quality of our pipe welds from a weld profile and hygienic perspective.
Our annual surveillance audit from the TWI was successfully completed for BS EN ISO 3834-2 and BS EN ISO 1090-1 Execution Class 3 and we have qualified an additional in house welding inspector to CSWIP 3.0.
During 2015 we have also invested in a Push-Pull Fume Extraction System to create a cleaner, safer work environment for our employees. Down one side of our workshop we installed a supply air ducting system which blows clean air into and across the workshop. The other side of the workshop has a parallel duct running with extraction grilles that dilute harmful welding fume and remove it from the air. The system works to help reduce the fine dust and welding fume in the atmosphere and protect workers from airborne contaminants. This will result in a cleaner, healthier and safer working environment for our staff.
